Day 1: Amsterdam

Arrive at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport, where you will be transferred to the ship.

Day 2: Amsterdam

FEATURED EXCURSIONS: Amsterdam by canal with either Van Gogh Museum OR Rijksmuseum visit

See Amsterdam from the perspective of a canal cruise, followed by a tour of one of two acclaimed museums—the Van Gogh Museum or the Rijksmuseum, home to Rembrandt’s The Night Watch. In the evening, enjoy a Captain’s Welcome Reception and Gala Dinner.

Day 3: Cologne

FEATURED EXCURSION: Cologne walking discovery tour with Roman-Germanic Museum

Stroll through the narrow streets of Cologne’s Old Town to the Roman-Germanic Museum, which displays thousands of artifacts from Cologne’s days as a Roman colony.

Note: On Mondays, the Roman-Germanic Museum is closed; it will be replaced with a visit to UNESCO-designated Cologne Cathedral.

Day 4: Koblez

FEATURED EXCURSIONS: Choice of Koblenz walking discovery tour OR exclusive guided “Go Active” hiking tour of Alken village and Thurant Castle

Take a walk through Koblenz’s Old Town, or explore the village of Alken and hike up to Thurant Castle, where you’ll meet the keeper and tour the castle’s interior.

Day 5: Cochem (Ediger-Eller)

FEATURED EXCURSIONS: Cochem walking discovery tour with Reichsburg Castle, and exclusive Ediger-Eller “Village Day” with wine tasting

History comes to life in charming Cochem, where you’ll tour Reichsburg Castle and the Old Town. Later, travel to Ediger-Eller, where the mayor will escort you to an organ recital at the town’s church and to a wine tasting at a local inn.

Day 6: Cruising the Moselle River, Trier (Luxembourg)

FEATURED EXCURSION: Luxembourg with WWII cemetery

After scenic cruising on the gently winding Moselle, you’ll have a tour of the city of Luxembourg, which includes such highlights as Our Lady Cathedral, the Grand Ducal Palace and the WWII cemetery where U.S. Army General George Patton is buried.

Day 7: Trier, cruising the Moselle River

FEATURED EXCURSION: Trier city tour

Trier is a UNESCO World Heritage Site once known as the “second Rome”—no other German city has as many monuments dating from ancient Roman times. After your city tour, cruise the Moselle River through a region famed for its excellent Rieslings.

Day 8: Bernkastel, cruising the Moselle River

Day 10: Speyer

Day 11: Strasbourg

We hope nothing will come between you and your Uniworld vacation. Should you need to cancel your booking or any portion of it, your cancellation must be received in writing. It will be effective on the date of receipt. Cancellation charges, per person and based upon the date of cancellation, are as follows:
