Every experience with ACIS is beyond outstanding.

Great experience because of the itinerary. The tour guides, transportation and hotels location.

I have traveled with ACIS three times and am preparing our next trip with the company for spring 2024.
My experience with ACIS was great because the company supported teachers as well as students and families in a exceptional way. ACIS was responsive to all of our requests, and all travelers expressed strong pleasure for all phases and aspects of the trip (food, accomodations, 24/7 helpline, tour manager, and transportation).
I give ACIS the highest recommendation possible because I have not experienced the same level of customer service with other travel companies that have helped me prepare overseas trips.

As always, this was an amazing Global Conference. ACIS provided great structure and organization with excellent and knowledgeable local guides as well as a great ACIS support team. They managed to fit lots of experiences into a relatively short time.
All accommodations were centrally located and comfortable allowing us to navigate easily in our free time.
Even though everything we saw was amazing, considering this was an adult trip, a little more down town would have been nice. The schedule was extremely tight and not much time to relax and enjoy our surroundings was given.

The registration process was easy though there was minor confusion on payment which we were able to get quickly answered through an email.

Het boekingsproces via hollandamerica.com is voor een boeking van meer dan 1 kamer slecht geregeld.

-Je moet voor elke kamer alles los boeken en alle gegevens (en dit zijn er veel) los invullen.
-Stuur je een email naar ze met alle gegevens van (in mijn geval 4 kamers, moet je alsnog meerdere keren bellen om dit goed geregeld te hebben. Alles via de telefoon spellen, geboortedatums, locaties etc. Kost uren (letterlijk). De mail met alle gegevens was blijkbaar niet een oplossing om het te boeken.
-Betaling moest daarna ook weer los per kamer etc.
Begrijp niet waarom ze niet zoals normale boekingssystemen van hotels/vluchten etc dit in een groepsboeking kunnen zetten. Allemaal extra werk, tijd en energie voor het bedrijf en voor de consument.
-Klantenservice is daarnaast niet op orde. Ze registreren de opmerkingen/afspraken niet goed. Bijv: we wilden uiteraard een tafel reserveren met de groep (aan 1 tafel); zou geregeld worden. Maar kreeg geen (beloofde) bevestiging. Dus moest weer bellen; was niet doorgegeven, maar kon niet meer?
Dus ik uiteraard nogmaals per email aangegeven dat dit was beloofd, en toen kon het ineens wel weer en was het alsnog geregeld.

-Naar alles te hebben bevestigd. Ik had ik simpele vraag wat het zou kosten om 1 kamer up to graden. Echter koste mij dit ook weer 4! telefoontjes, werd opgehangen, moest in de wacht en werd de verbinding verbroken. Was wat beschikbaar, maar later niet meer, en dit veranderde letterlijk per kwartier. Er waren ineens geen kamers meer beschikbaar en 20min later waren er ineens 20+ kamer beschikbaar over het hele schip. Er waren ineens 2 systemen die beide iets anders zouden aangeven?
KORTOM: complete chaos.

Het werd vervolgens compleet door mij niet te kunnen doorgeven wat de extra prijs zou zijn. Dat konden ze niet in de mail zetten, daarvoor moest ik TOCH NOG een keer bellen? Alsof ze met 2 maten meten..

Heb het uiteraard ook aangegeven via de mail, maar uiteraard krijg je een 'we betreuren het' email. Dus vandaar even deze waarschuwing.
Boek je een cruise bij ze, doe dit vooral niet bij hun zelf (en al helemaal niet voor een groepsboeking).


Kortom: deze klantenservice & boekingssoftware/systeem is niet op orde.
Jammer, want de reis moet nog beginnen..

I was reassuring having a well organized and detailed itinerary. ACIS booked us quality hotels, an experienced bus driver, and a well organized tour guide. Meals and excursions were top notch. When ever there was an issue it was handled right away. The pretrip was planning was so easy. Tom Heigham was exceptional to work with planning this trip. I can't say enough about his professionalism and his deatiled planning.

I just returned from a trip to MADRID. ACIS did a spectacular job with all aspects of the trip. The hotel was EXCELLENT…It was centrally located and just seconds from the famous Grand Via. Breakfast was included and the was a tremendous variety to choose from.

The trip was A++!

This company is second to none. They have impacted the lives of over 300 of my students as well as my wife, myself and our children. As we all know, you get what you pay for, however the ACIS experience is beyond worth every penny and more! Simply put: THEY DELIVER ABOVE AND BEYOND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have always believed that you don't know what's really on your travel bucket list until you're there, on the ground, doing it. In this case, Morocco was a hidden gem that awaited us. Little did we know how much we would enjoy the adventure.

In short, the Morocco trip was tremendous. The leadership from Radouan, our tour guide, was stellar. His confidence, cultural fluency, sense of humor, and timing were spot on. The accommodations and meals were fantastic. Every single detail on the itinerary was thought out so well. Each day was packed with meaningful cultural encounters, one of a kind moments, or great 'memory makers.'

One caveat for prospective travellers: this was a HOT trip. If you're adverse to hot weather, you might want to think twice about going to North Africa in July.

The only reason I did not give ACIS 5 stars is because it is the most expensive company I have dealt with for student travel. That being said, it is WORTH THE MONEY to be closer to attractions, have better accommodations, and have the very best tour managers to deal with any hiccup that may occur during the trip. They are a WONDERFUL company, but definitely on the pricey side. I can ALWAYS reach a real person anytime I need them, and they will do whatever they can to meet or exceed your expectations.

Previously (in the 80-90's) it was easier to talk to a customer representative. Getting an appointment and scheduling a discussion makes it a little tougher to work into a teacher's schedule.

Wat een ongelofelijk fijne en bijzondere ervaring van onze eerste en zeker niet laatste cruise met de nieuw Statendam naar de Noorse Fjorden.
Iedereen was even vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ze wisten je naam en namen de tijd voor je. Het eten was ongelofelijk lekker. Alles was schoon. Veel te doen op het schip, voor ieder wat wils. Wat een fantastische tijd. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar. We werden echt in de watten gelegd en zelfs een verjaardag wordt niet overgeslagen. Top!
