What travelers are saying

"My first trip with this agency, and I will not hesitate to recommend it to friends and family. The right mix of planned activities and free time. Good central location of all the hotels. The only fly in the ointment was the last hotel where there were vibration and noise in several rooms and the hotel staff was extremely arrogant and rude. They blatantly asserted looking me right in the eye that they cannot hear any noise, even though more than one person from our group was complaining. However. Tucan's guide Cindy was extremely helpful and did her best to resolve the situation, in spite of the hotel staff's behaviour. On the whole, Cindy was great, very helpful and caring."

What travelers are saying

"It's hard to describe how lucky we are to have been able to work with Stephanie in planning our honeymoon to Japan. From the very beginning, Stephanie was friendly, flexible, and an absolute wealth of knowledge. We had several meetings with her leading up to our trip to come up with the perfect itinerary. Throughout this, Stephanie was mindful of our budget, without sacrificing anything. During our trip, Audley was available at all hours to help with anything and everything which was such a relief to know we had that resource available to us. I truly cannot imagine having planned this trip without all of Stephanie's guidance and knowledge- and cannot imagine taking another big trip like this without the help of Audley. Thank you again!"

Isla Santiago Tour Selection Trips

  • Although Santiago Island is not one of the main islands that springs to mind, most Galapagos cruises will include a visit to Santiago in the itinerary.
  • When visiting the Galapagos, it's important to pack light, but definitely include a pair of water shoes and close toed walking shoes. Bring layers, including a light sweatshirt for nighttime.
  • You'll also want to bring strong sun protection, such as hats, long sleeve swimming gear, and strong sunscreen.
  • Observing the wildlife is a key element of Galapagos travel, but remember not to ever pet, feed, or touch the animals even though they are used to human presence and will allow you to get very close.
