Day 1 : International outbound flight
Today you begin your journey by boarding your international outbound flight to Hong Kong.
Day 2 : Hong Kong
Upon arrival in Hong Kong you will board the convenient airport express to the city centre from where you will transfer to your hotel.Evening at your own leisure to explore.
Day 3 : Hong Kong
Full day at your own leisure to explore this huge city.
Day 4 : Hong Kong
A further day to take in the sights and sounds of Hong Kong.
Day 5 : Hanoi
An early rise today as you will make your way back to the airport in time for your morning flight to Hanoi.Upon arrival in Hanoi you will be greeted by an Audley representative and taken to your hotel.After settling in to your accommodation you will join a local blogger for a fascinating street food tour of Hanoi.
Day 6 : Hanoi
This morning you will be collected from your hotel and transferred to Hoa Binh where you will board the RV Angkor Pandaw. Disembarking Hoa Binh you will begin your adventure cruising down the Red River.
Day 7 : Hanoi
Wander ashore at Hoa Ha for your first stop at a typical riverside village and enjoy a day sailing downstream admiring the unspoilt beauty of the Da River.
Day 8 : Hanoi
Spend the day visiting numerous sites in and around Viet Tri including the UNESCO village of Duong Lam.
Day 9 : Hanoi
Head on to remote untouched villages including Gia Thanh.
Day 10 : Hanoi
See remote temples and lush rice paddies studded by limestone rock formations.
Day 11 : Hanoi
Arriving in Hanoi you will have the full day to explore the capital's many sites including Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum, charming old quarter and the temple of literature.
Day 12 : Hanoi
Spend a further day exploring the city.
Day 13 : Hanoi
Leaving Hanoi behind you will continue along the Duong River towards Halong Bay.
Day 14 : Hanoi
Stop at Duc Tai village before anchoring in the bay surrounded by stunning limestone karst scenery and enjoying a BBQ in a secluded bay.
Day 15 : Hanoi
Enjoy a full day in Halong Bay, exploring ancient caves and local villages.
Day 16 : International return flight
Wake up to the sunrise on Halong Bay and spend the morning discovering the area before disembarking and returning to the airport for your flight home. Your return flight will arrive the same day.
