Today you begin your journey by boarding your international outbound flight to Tokyo.
On arrival into Japan, you will have the services of an airport representative whose main job is to help validate your rail pass before taking you over to the airport shuttle transfer. Use our free-time information for your first day of acclimatising to explore 'cool Tokyo', using Tokyo's excellent public transport. A PASMO pre-loaded travel card is included in the package. This is a great way to get your bearings around this sprawling capital and seeing the fun and cool side of this great city.

The world's largest tower stands are 634m (2000 feet) and offers fantastic views over the capital. From here you can head over the Sumida River to the older part of the city, Asakusa, where you can enjoy a rickshaw ride (included) around Tokyo's largest temple, Senso...

This morning you will get the chance to take part in a cultural activity of your choice such as the quintessentially Japanese green tea ceremony. Later this afternoon, head to the birthplace of ninja at Iga-Ueno. Experience a hands-on workshop as a ninja complete with costume, ninja stars and practise 'dojo'.
Take the final bullet train of your trip from Kyoto back to the capital for your final night here. After checking in, spend the remainder of the afternoon at leisure around the west of Tokyo. What better way to end this fantastic trip with a stretch of vocal chords and a wave of a tambourine at a karaoke box - how Japanese!
Today you will be transferred back to the airport in time for your return flight. Your return flight will arrive the same day.
