Our specialists have explored this isle of spice, from its mountainous interior to the never-busy beaches, and can suggest how to include it on your trip through the Caribbean. Stay where your suite leads straight onto the beach or spend time on a privately crewed yacht, flitting between marinas.

Japan
We wanted to let you know that the trip exceeded expectations. We appreciated, connected and enjoyed each of our guides as unique people who shared their cities and culture with us. The couple of snafus were handled competently- the missing bus passes, train schedules that still were not quite right all fixed with the help of our Orientation guide! Dana was a great last guide- giving us Insight into religious practices, culture and living in modern Japan.
The accommodations were fantastic, we felt spoiled by the attention.
Our experiences with the people of Japan were wonderful. The random people we met were friendly and helpful - the Japanese businessman who led us to our train to make sure we got on the right one when we were a bit confused by the Tokyo train system early on...comes to mind, our language barrier was forgiven. Occasionally the google translator was called into service, and google maps was a godsend! Each of our interactions with local folks turned into a story and adventure, such as the restaurant owner who wants to be a football player for Atlanta!
We took over 1200 pictures most are breathtaking. I am having trouble trimming things down for a slide show to share with family and friends that won't last an hour or more!
I will include just a few here with our thanks for putting together an experience that we both truly enjoyed and will remember!
Arigato, thank you!

What stars Audley are
All locations and accommodation including the staff therein, were brilliant. The icing on the cake however, came when our long haul flight was cancelled with only hours to spare. An hour after emailing James, who was going on holiday that day, we had overnight accommodation organised, how to get there and what to do when there. When you’re a long way from home and something like happens, Audley will sort it. No problem. Thankyou.
Japan , our holiday of a lifetime
Audley took into account our budget. They booked mid range hotels that were fabulous and close to train networks for ease of travel.
I cannot think of one criticism at all. The G7 summit threw up some last minute problems with our booking which Jo dealt with on our behalf , she fully consulted us throughout.
Audley ensured we had the most amazing holiday. I have no hesitation in recommending them based on my personal experience and would definitely use them again if I were to have another long distance holiday.
Excellent all round

Petite Anse
Accommodations: Petite Anse
A warm welcome awaits at this lovely little boutique hotel on the unspoilt north coast of Grenada. It was the owners Philip and Annie’s dream to live by the ocean, so they left England in search of that special place they could call home, and after several years at sea running a yacht charter business, they fell in love with Grenada and its friendly people, and so Petite Anse was born. The hotel is set above a wild sandy beach looking out across the Caribbean Sea to the Grenadines, and each of the 13 individual cottages are nestled in the beautiful tropical gardens. A unique property, it has a simple and relaxed, rustic atmosphere, a beautiful location and a unique feeling of staying in someone’s private home.
Additional Information
Ti Kaye Resort and Spa
A haven of peace and tranquility, Ti Kaye's greatest charm is its dramatic location overlooking secluded Anse Cochon, a lovely beach backed by lush rainforest. Well hidden from the main road down a bumpy track, it provides a wonderful sense of seclusion.
Ti Kaye, 'little house' in Creole, has a wonderfully warm and intimate atmosphere and is a far cry from Saint Lucia’s larger hotels. Service here is highly personal and the cottage-style rooms are set around lush gardens with breathtaking views. The resort hugs the edge of a cliffside and it's a steep climb down to the beach, but with excellent snorkeling and diving, it's well worth the effort. Alternatively, you could just lounge by the pool, try a wine tasting session or indulge in a spa treatment with dramatic views. Guests can also enjoy horse riding, rainforest hikes and sunset cruises from Ti Kaye’s private dock, learn to dive or discover the colorful marine life in the bay, one of the island's best snorkeling sites. The two restaurants here are exceptional with casually elegant dining and an award-winning wine cellar.
The hotel's 33 cottages are built into the hillside and have rustic, simple yet elegant decor featuring four-poster beds, garden showers and a large balcony with double hammock. Pool cottages have their own private plunge pool with large decks and uninterrupted sea views.
Description
This charming resort has been lovingly created by the owner Nick Pinnock who bought the land in 1991 and has worked tirelessly to make it into the place it is today. As you head off the main road on the rough lane down to the resort, you’ll soon forgive the bumpy ride as you arrive at this haven of peace and seclusion.
Situated in Anse Cochon, one of the best snorkeling bays in Saint Lucia, this intimate Caribbean resort is a world away from the larger resorts for which Saint Lucia is better known. The owner and managers have made a real effort to reflect Saint Lucia’s culture and heritage in the architecture and general feel of the resort, even down to small details like the Creole room names.
Enjoy the laid back atmosphere, personal service and picture postcard views, whilst staying in your own little gingerbread cottage set in the lush gardens of this unique resort.
Location
Hugging the edge of the cliff side, this pretty resort offers a really secluded location and incredible sea views.
Ti Kaye is set on the hillside overlooking a pretty bay that’s surrounded by thick rainforest. The hotel is about a mile down a track from the main road (about ten minutes drive) and with no other resorts or houses nearby it's a beautifully secluded location. However, please note that as the bay is one of the best sites for snorkeling in Saint Lucia, it is visited by snorkel boats from other parts of the island. The rest of the time you will have it all to yourself.
The sand here is light gray due to the volcanic nature of this region and if you don’t fancy the 166 steps up or down to the beach, you can call for the hotel's shuttle to whisk you up the hill.
North Coast of Grenada
Grenada's unspoilt north coast is one of the best kept secrets in the Caribbean. Untouched by major development and blessed with a laid-back island attitude, it offers visitors a wide variety of attractions to explore. Discover the fishing town of Sauteurs, overlooking the Sauteurs Bay, the glorious beach and wildlife-rich mangrove swamp at Levera National Park, visit hot springs and waterfalls, quaint fishing villages, cocoa and nutmeg plantations, or head further afield to idyllic Sandy Beach, an uninhabited island surrounded by turquoise seas.
A lovely little boutique hotel on Grenada's unspoilt north coast, Petite Anse is set above a wild sandy beach over the Caribbean Sea. The 13 simple cottages are nestled in tropical gardens and feature canopy beds, wooden floors and plenty of individual touches.
North Coast of Grenada
Location: Grenada
Known as the 'Isle of Spice', this little island is an alluring mix of lush rainforest, sparkling waterfalls and powdery white beaches, infused with the heady aromas of nutmeg, cinnamon and cocoa.
Grenada’s sheltered beaches are some of the finest in the region, rarely crowded and affording picture postcard vistas of soft sugary sands and swaying palms. The calm turquoise waters provide optimal conditions for snorkeling and scuba diving, with some of the best reef and wreck diving in the Caribbean.
The mountainous interior is fertile and dense with vegetation, criss-crossed by rivers and hiking trails and home to monkeys, colorful lizards and around 150 species of bird. Historic plantations still produce some of the best cocoa in the world and you can also visit traditional rum distilleries or nutmeg producers.
Grenadians are a friendly and welcoming people, and a great way to get to know them is with a visit to the Saturday market in the pretty capital, St George’s. The island also boasts some fantastically rustic eateries offering hearty home-cooked cuisine, while Grenada’s smaller outlying islands, Carriacou and Petite Martinique, offer the chance to really get off the beaten track.
