Itinerary

New England is scenic year-round, however, the best time for viewing fall foliage is in late September through October. Fall colors vary as they are affected by weather, elevation, and climate, and therefore may differ by location.

DAY 1 - Arrive in Boston
Arrive in Boston and transfer independently to the hotel. The rest of the afternoon is at leisure Your tour will begin with an orientation meeting with your Tour Manager at approximately 7 PM. We recommend that you select flights which arrive in your destination no later than 5 PM Overnight: Boston

DAY 2 - Boston City Tour, Mayflower II
This morning, begin with a tour of historic Boston. View the Old North Church (Christ Church) built in 1723, drive by numerous government and historical buildings, including the Massachusetts State House and State Capitol near the top of Beacon Hill. On to Boston Commons...
DAY 3 - Full Day in Hyannis, Cape Cod

DAY 4 - Norman Rockwell Museum, Travel to Ludlow, VT

DAY 5 - Waterbury, Rockingham, Ludlow, VT

DAY 6 - Vermont Institute of Natural Science Nature Center, Scenic Kancamagus Highway
Today, view the Quechee Gorge, Vermont's deepest gorge for breathtaking views. Later, visit the Vermont Institute of Natural Science Nature Center, a large 47-acre complex, housing indoor and outdoor exhibits. Experience the Forest Canopy Walk and admire the lush forest....
DAY 7 - Mount Washington Cog Railway
Today, embark on the Mount Washington Cog Railway, the World's First Mountain Climbing Train to the top of Mount Washington, the highest peak in New England.* Lunch and the remainder of the day is at leisure *Temperatures at the summit may be much colder, please dress accordingly. DAY 8 - Portland Headlight, Travel to Ogunquit
Depart the White Mountains for coastal Portland. Visit the Portland Headlight, a historic lighthouse in Cape Elizabeth. Free time in Portland to explore and for lunch on your own. Continue your day with a scenic drive through Kennebunkport before arriving at the hotel in Ogunquit. This evening, at dinner, bid farewell to your Tour Manager Overnight: Ogunquit Meals: Breakfast, Dinner

DAY 9 - Return Home
Early morning group departure from Ogunquit and drive to Boston Logan International Airport for your departure flight back to your hometown city. Passengers returning to Boston from Ogunquit on Day 9 should select flights that depart no earlier than 1 PM. Ogunquit is approximately a two-hour drive from Boston Logan airport Meals: Breakfast

Learn about the island’s most famous landmarks, view the beautiful landscapes and magnificent beaches. Shop in the local stores unique to the "Vineyard". Learn about the seasonal and year-round communities of bustling Vineyard Haven and quaint Edgartown.
