Travel arrangements for any member of the party may be cancelled at any time by written notice by the person who made the booking. Please note the following:

If notice of cancellation is received by Insight more than 45 days prior to the tour departure date, (80 days for La Serenissima) deposit will be retained along with the Travel Protection payment.

If full payment is not received 45 days prior to departure date (80 days for La Serenissima) , Insight has the right to cancel your reservation. Insight will not be responsible for lost reservations.

If a person in a party cancels and there is a room change caused by this cancellation (such as loss of Friendly Five discount -Twin to Single, or Triple to Twin), charges for the upgrade will be the responsibility of the remaining party.

The following charges will apply when notice of cancellation is given after the booking is confirmed:

Danube Cruise Dinner & Drinks

The most leisurely way to discover this fairy-tale city is a private cruise on the Danube with a glass of fine Hungarian wine in hand. See Margaret Island, the Houses of Parliament, Castle Hill with its Fisherman’s Bastion, the Royal Palace, the Citadel and the University. While cruising, enjoy a lavish, gourmet buffet meal of Hungarian specialties and unlimited drinks.

Horses and Dinner

The landscape around Budapest is delightfully different from the city. Called the pustza, it's an almost desert-like area with many horse farms. On this unique tour, we'll drive through the pustza to reach the most popular attraction in the area, a spectacular show of skill and horsemanship. The tour ends with a meal in a traditional csarda (restaurant) on the farm with a rustic, but romantic atmosphere.

The Opera House and Market Hall

The Hungarian State Opera House has survived untouched since its grand opening in 1884 and is well worth a visit. After a guided tour through the impressive interior, we'll head for central Market Hall. Hidden Treasures Of Old Vienna Walk

A leisurely walk with an expert historian unveils the hidden squares and tucked-away corners of the old city. Learn all about the Vienna Synagogue as well as the mysterious St. Rupert's church, thought to be the city's oldest. Find out what Vienna was like in 1447 and admire the Art Nouveau Anker Clock. Marvel at the spindly Gothic spire and colourful mosaic tiled roof of St Stephen's Cathedral as your guide explains its importance to Austrian culture and history.
