Itinerary
Arrive to Cape Town, where you are met and escorted to your hotel.
Morning cable car ride to the top of Table Mountain (weather permitting). Enjoy the architecture of The Castle and other historic buildings. Continue to the Malay Quarter, and marvel at the ice-cream colors of the quaint Bo-Kaap homes. Also visit a professional...
Full day exploring the Cape Peninsula. Drive along the False Bay coastline via Boulders Beach (penguin colony) to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve. Cape Point, at the tip of the peninsula, is regarded as the meeting place of the Indian and Atlantic Oceans. Return to Cape Town via the scenic Atlantic Coastline. (B)
Fly to the Greater Kruger Park area and enjoy your first afternoon game drive. Later, experience a delicious dinner under the starlit sky. (BLD)
Roam the reserve in open 4WD vehicles in search of elephant, leopard, cheetah, kudu, giraffe, Cape buffalo, hippo and other species. Your mid morning walk is an opportunity to feel the pulse of Africa through the soles of your feet and experience the bushveld at close quarters. (BLD)
Spend a second full day game viewing in the Kruger National Park. (BLD)
Enjoy one last early morning game drive. Fly to Johannesburg and spend the night at a nearby resort hotel. (B)
Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to hotel. Later in the afternoon enjoy the sun-downer cruise on the Zambezi River. (BD)
Morning guided walking tour of the falls with its vast curtain of water that is nearly a mile wide and 355 feet high. The afternoon is at leisure for optional activities such as bungee jumping, Flight of Angels and others. Tonight enjoy a festive dinner at The Boma Restaurant. (BD)
Transfer by road to the Chobe National Park, Botswana. These combined wetlands, dry woodlands and savannas are home to a huge elephant population. Enjoy a late afternoon game viewing cruise. (BLD)
Take morning and afternoon game drives in an open 4WD vehicles. At day end, return to the lodge for another spectacular sunset on the Chobe River. (BLD)
Morning transfer to nearby Kasane Airport for your flight to Johannesburg. Arrive Johannesburg and spend the night at a nearby resort hotel. (B)
Fly to Nairobi, Kenya, where you are met and escorted to your hotel. (B)
Drive through the fertile central highlands to our lodge on the flanks of Kenya’s highest mountain and secreted deep within her largest forest reserve. Fall asleep to the symphony of the African night or sit in stillness and observe the fascinating interplay of the animals as they arrive to drink, bath and forage around the water hole. (BLD)
Today we travel to the Ol Pejeta Conservancy, home to the largest Black rhino sanctuary and hosting the Big Five. Our afternoon game drive will visit the chimpanzee sanctuary which also shelters rare and endangered species. (BLD)
Fly across the Great Rift Valley to the Masai Mara National Reserve, the highlight of any Kenyan safari. Afternoon game drive. (BLD)
Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in the Masai Mara, widely considered to be Africa’s greatest wildlife reserve. A balloon safari is also available (additional cost). (BLD)
Enjoy one last morning game drive in Masai Mara before returning to Nairobi by air where a day room is provided. Time permitting, you have the option of visiting the Karen Blixen Museum and Giraffe Centre (additional cost). Transfer to the airport for your departure flight.(B)
