Visits

Aguas Calientes, Arequipa, Buenos Aires, Copacabana, Cusco, Iguazu Falls, Ilha Grande, Inca Trail, Lake Titicaca, La Paz, Lima, Machu Picchu, Montevideo, Nazca, Ollantaytambo, Paraty, Plaza Mayor , Puno, Rio de Janeiro, San Francisco, Sucre, Uyuni

Highlights

  • Explore elegant architecture, political history in spades and hilly neighbourhoods dotted with terracotta roofs – Sucre might be Bolivia’s most beautiful city.
  • Take an unforgettable 4WD adventure across the Salar de Uyuni – some of the largest salt lakes in the world. Pass cactus islands, train cemeteries and mineral lakes teeming with flamingos.
  • The giant desert inscriptions of the Nazca Lines are one of Peru's great unsolved mysteries, and so is the lost Inca city of Machu Picchu. You’ll experience both your own way, with a range of options to choose from.
  • Enjoy delicious home-cooking and warm hospitality during your three-day estancia stay, and learn about Uruguay’s gauchos – legendary cowboys – while on the ranch.
  • After seeing its virgin rainforests, blue lagoons and splendid beaches, you’d never imagine that Ilha Grande had such a treacherous pirate history. This is true natural beauty, Brazilian style.

What travelers are saying

"I did the EBC trek with Intrepid in September and October. Our group missed the first 3 days of the planned 12 day trek due to bad weather. There was a real fear we would not be able to do the trek at all. Intrepid sorted out additional accommodation and flights once we were able to fly. Our group made it to EBC by missing the 2 acclimation days on the accent and descending in 3 days instead of 4. This was only possible because of the awesome staff (guides and porters) employed by Intrepid and by Intrepid's backroom staff making alternative accommodation and flight arrangements for us."

Intrepid is the largest B Corp certified operator on the Inca Trail and we’re committed to operating our treks for the benefit of all.

What travelers are saying

"Visions of Japan was our first international trip ever, so we were nervous, but as it turns out, we had no reason to be - everything went so smoothly! Our guide was wonderful and knowledgeable, the driver was skilled, and the hotels were beautiful. All the stops were fun and amazing. It was a great 'get your feet wet' tour of Japan. I highly recommend it! You're in good hands with Globus."
